    Position Summary: At Fast Pace Urgent Care, Nurses provide support essential for effective patient care. Nurses at Fast Pace Urgent Care are responsible for providing outstanding service and maintaining a compassionate and welcoming atmosphere.

     

    Fast Pace Urgent Care is currently seeking a Nurse (MA, LPN ,or RN) to work in our clinic. Typical schedules consist of 4-12 hour shifts rotating weekends off. Clinic hours are Monday -Friday 8a-8p, Saturday 8a-6p, and Sunday 1p-5p.

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver overall support for Providers and clinic operations.
    • Observe patients, charting and reporting changes in patients' conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and taking any necessary action.
    • Instruct patients on collection of any necessary samples and tests
    • Obtain vital signs and escorting patients to rooms
    • Give injections, administering prescribed medications as directed by provider and in accordance with nursing standards
    • Ensure that patient chart entries are made accurately and in a timely matter and forwarding charts as appropriate.
    • Assist with scheduling of tests and treatments.
    • Arrange referrals to a specialist and obtaining pre-authorizations when directed to by the Provider.
    • Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake.
    • Assist with lab testing and Phlebotomy.
    • Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatment.
    • Assist providers in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.

    Qualifications

    • Active State LPN or RN license
    • At least 1 year experience in a hospital, primary care or urgent care setting is preferred
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Bachelor degree preferred
    • Director/Manager experience preferred
