    Fast Pace Urgent Care is currently seeking a Travel PRN Nurse Practitioner to work in multiple clinics in the Kentucky Region. This position will pay a higher-enhanced PRN rate with candidates agreeing to work at least 100 hours or 8 shifts per month and having the availability to travel up to 200 miles from their home. Lodging and travel expenses will be paid.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
    • Make diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with attention to patient-centric care, safety, cost, and reliably accurate information.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and autonomous environment.
    • Provide guidance to other medical staff (e.g. X-Ray Technologists, Nurses, and Front Office Specialists) to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.
    • Order, perform, or interpret the results of diagnostic tests, as well as responsibly prescribe medications and educate patients on continued treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Must accept at least eight assigned shifts or 100 hours per month
    • Must be open to working within at least a 200 mile radius of their home (lodging and travel paid)
    • Must be able to treat all ages
    • Valid state License
    • Valid DEA License
    • Valid DOT License
    • 1-2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice, such as Urgent Care or Occupational Medical facility, ER or Trauma Unit, Family Medical Practice
